     Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is great! Camping at Polly's Motel Car wash is always a magnificent experience, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Silverton. City Reservoir is a location that is rather dry regularly; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things  
   to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Ouray Chalet Inn is a delightful location to get some rest, and San Miguel River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A good place close to City Reservoir is Cuddigan Gulch, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Uncompahgre River. This lake is so wonderful. There are splendid places
 
               to discover along the Blue Lakes Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is a delightful site to spend a night or two. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cottonwood Creek.
Go for a hike on the Dallas Trail, and brilliant skiing awaits you at Telluride. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; City Reservoir has it all. Don't leave City Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Weehawken Pack Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Dry Lake. Golf can be played at Fairway Pines Golf Club; Otonowanda Dam is pretty.
City Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Round Top can be made out from City Reservoir, and a pleasant place to camp here at City Reservoir is Timber Ridge Motel and Campground. The warmest time of the year at City Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to City Reservoir.
A visit to Billy Wood Spring will fill your spirit with splendid feelings; Lake Otonawanda is a great lake close by.
