This lake is so wonderful. Chiquita Lake is right by the Ypsilon Lake Trail; while you're here, you could also have a look at scenic Ypsilon Lake. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do next to Chiquita Lake. Chiquita Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and November is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Endovalley Campground; there are some great       whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. From Chiquita Lake you acquire a glorious sight of Mount Chapin; you'll discover a pretty lake called Spectacle Lakes. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Front Range. Take a hike on the Hidden Valley Trail. There's so much to do here at Chiquita Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Aspenglen Campground is a nice location for that. So many amusing things to do in the Front Range, not enough time.                  Hiking along the Lawn Lake Trail is splendid fun; Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations that are perfect to check out close by. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Chiquita Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chiquita Lake. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. A spree to Chiquita Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Chasm Falls; there's whitewater on Joe Wright Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Bennett Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here, and if you need a location to stay Fawn Valley Inn is a delightful choice.
