Chipmunk Lake is a lake worth visiting. What a site this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Ypsilon Lake Trail, and getting to Bennett Creek from Chipmunk Lake is simple. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Lawn Lake Trail, and you can stay the night at Aspenglen Campground.
Not much precipitation falls here at Chipmunk Lake; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is November.

| | Chipmunk Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff close to Chipmunk Lake. Endovalley Campground is a fine campground nearby; do pay a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park while you're here at Chipmunk Lake.

Cache La Poudre River is a great whitewater spot near Chipmunk Lake, and you get a good vista of Mount Chiquita from here. If you need a place to stay Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a magnificent choice, and Estes Park Condos is a magnificent
site to get some rest.
At Chipmunk Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures
at Chipmunk Lake drop into the 0's. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe Wright Creek; going for a hike along the Black Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this area. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Front Range. You'll locate a pretty lake called Cascade Lake near Chipmunk Lake; a short journey to Chasm Falls is always worthwhile.
