If you need a place to stay Georgetown Mountain Inn is a wonderful choice, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Berthoud Pass. Around Chinns Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; through August
this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The Sevenmile Ski Trail is a great hiking trail next to Chinns Lake.
