Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations near Chickadee Pond that are brilliant to go to, and the top of Copeland Mountain is easily spotted from Chickadee Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Front Range. Dry warm beds await you at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn, and skiing at Berthoud Pass is one of those things you just have to do. All year is a magnificent time in the       Front Range if you like the outdoors. Ouzel Creek is in close proximity to Chickadee Pond and is always a pleasure to explore, and of course, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Falcon Lake is a lake nearby. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Chickadee Pond is great! If you came for an overnight stay Pawnee Lake Campground is a splendid place to camp; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lion Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  The Bluebird Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North is so much fun. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Chickadee Pond will keep you coming back again and again. Longs Peak Campground is a great campground nearby, and Wild Basin is a nice place here at Chickadee Pond. So many enjoyable things in the Front Range, just striking. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Winter Park. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Marys Lake Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two, and you can take a little journey to Pear Dam if you're here at Chickadee Pond. Take a hike on the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Boulder Creek. Chickadee Pond is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Lark Pond is one of those close by It's always delightful to go to Mertensia Falls. Throughout the summertime at Chickadee Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Chickadee Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
