There's so much to do here at Chicago Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Beartrack Campground is a glorious site for that, and do take a hike on the Chicago Lakes Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Georgetown, and perfect skiing awaits you at Arapahoe Basin. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. You get a splendid view of Mount Evans       from Chicago Lakes; get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to stop by close to Chicago Lakes is Idaho Springs Dam, and float down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Chicago Lakes. Have a good hiking adventure along the Abyss Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Summit Lake. Chicago Lakes is a beautiful                  lake in the Front Range. Summertime highs at Chicago Lakes commonly tend to be in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while Chicago Lakes overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Georgetown Mountain Inn is a good choice, and Summit Lake Flats is right here at Chicago Lakes. The amount of rain that falls at Chicago Lakes is close to the national average; most of the snow falls during April, and October is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of Chicago Lakes. Winter Park has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike along the Rosalie Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lakes?
