Cherry Lane Reservoir is right by the East Leon Trail, and don't forget to take a great little journey to Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Mesa National Forest is a great local forest, and everyone close by loves skiing at Powderhorn. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and Cherry Lane Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a       day at, Twin Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Gunnison River, and do take a hike on the Monument Trail. Lakes are magnificent; Bonita Reservoir is a lake that's close to Cherry Lane Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Cherry Lane Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Weir and Johnson Campground is a fine spot for that. Cherry Lane Reservoir                  is next to Chipmunk Dam which is a gorgeous location positively worth stopping at; dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge. Cherry Lane Reservoir gets very little rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Cherry Lane Reservoir while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's.
