This lake is so wonderful. A great place near Cherry Lake is Spring Gulch, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at The Beaver Ponds. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. At Cherry Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight       here at Cherry Lake. Around Cherry Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; through April this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Salt Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of -blank-. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more cool stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. There are other sites here than Cherry Lake, for example                  Erickson Lake, and The Crestwood Condominiums is a splendid location to get some rest. Just can't get enough of the Sawatch Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Aspen Highlands since you're here, and some of the water nearby flows, like Swamp Creek. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Cherry Lake has it all. A great location for whitewater paddling near Cherry Lake is Roaring Fork, and if you came to camp River Dance RV Resort is a glorious place to do that. If you're here at Cherry Lake, checking out Masonic Monument is a must; if you need a site to stay The Green Drake is a wonderful choice.
