Custom Search     Cheesman Lake     I was disappointed when I realized that canoes are not allowed. But it is very beautiful and a nice place for a simple hike. Says Michael Bring your fishing net!!!! I caught a two pound smallmouth off powerbait and reeled it in on 6lb test all the way to the bank and the line snapped as I pulled it up and out of the water because I had no net. Says Scott No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Cheesman Lake. The summit of Cheesman     Mountain can be made out from Cheesman Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Sedalia here. You definitely ought to adore the Front Range.   went in July 2007, no bites.
