This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Chatfield Reservoir without first going for a hike along the High Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Steamboat Springs. Baughn Lake Campground is a brilliant campground here, and going for a hike on the Ute Trail is always a good adventure. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. At Chatfield       Reservoir all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Chatfield Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. Not much rainfall falls here at Chatfield Reservoir; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow; June is when it's the driest. Chatfield Reservoir is a great place to camp, Bucks Campground is a great                  place; Killarney Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
