Chasm Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Saint Vrain Creek - North offers some pleasant whitewater, and Chasm Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Longs Peak Campground is a fine local campground. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Columbine Falls is an inspiring place to go to while here. At Chasm Lake

| | you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while November is generally the driest month.
Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - South, and there's splendid hiking along the Boulder Brook Trail. Ridge Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest. Chasm Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range.
This lake is so wonderful. A splendid spot near Chasm Lake is Granite Pass, and a great spot like Boulder Field here at Chasm
Lake is too great to miss. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do close to Chasm Lake. No need to travel far to take a look at out of the ordinary stuff like Chasm View, and camping at Glacier Basin Campground is always
a perfect experience. Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the destinations near Chasm Lake that are nice to go to, and a delightful close by hotel is Marys Lake Lodge.
Battle Mountain is painless to spot from Chasm Lake, and
don't leave Chasm Lake without first going for a hike along the Long Peak Trail. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Front Range, too perfect to be true. Berthoud Pass has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff; you can go for
a hike on the East Longs Peak Trail. Through the months of summer at Chasm Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Chasm Lake.
