This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Chasm View is near Chasm Lake. There's so much to do here at Chasm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Longs Peak Campground is a wonderful location for that. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Chasm Lake get into the 70's, and       during the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Chasm Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Chasm Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Rocky Mountain National Park is a good national park, and Granite Pass is a tremendous place to go to. It is very dried up here at Chasm Lake usually; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is November. Man,                  is there a load of amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. There are brilliant places to explore along the Boulder Brook Trail, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Saint Vrain Creek - North. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Peacock Pool while you're here at Chasm Lake; it's close by, and if you need a site to stay Marys Lake Lodge is a tremendous choice. You simply must have a thing about the Front Range. Looking for something close to Chasm Lake? Keplinger Lake is around here, and dry warm beds await you at Aspen Lodge. So many fun things to do here in the Front Range, too great to be true. Boulder Field is a brilliant site, and going for a hike on the Long Peak Trail is always a splendid adventure. All the outdoors cool things near Chasm Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Near Chasm Lake you find the East Longs Peak Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; don't leave Chasm Lake without first paying a visit to Columbine Falls. Having a tremendous time at Chasm Lake is trouble-free. Saint Vrain Creek - South is a great whitewater spot near Chasm Lake; hey, Gotta ski right?
