Beautiful Chase Draw Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Dinosaur National Monument is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Chase Draw Reservoir that are tremendous to go to; Douglas Creek is in the neighborhood of Chase Draw Reservoir and is always a bliss to go to. Chase Draw Reservoir is regularly a reasonably waterless place; the month with most of the rain is October while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yampa River

| | is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Chase Draw Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Dragon Douglas Trail is magnificent fun, and you can run the rapids of White River. Don't leave Chase Draw Reservoir without first checking out Coal Oil Rim, and nearby Chase Draw is a good place to go. Summertime highs at Chase Draw Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chase Draw Reservoir.
