Go to Chapman Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Fryingpan River. There's so much to do here at Chapman Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Wallow Campground is a magnificent location for that. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Chapman Reservoir has to offer. Don't leave Chapman Reservoir

| | without first going for a hike along the Chapman Trail, and Chapman Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dearhamer Campground is a great local campground. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Sawatch Range is unbeatable! Really glorious skiing awaits you at Aspen Highlands, and VillaHotel La Niche is a perfect spot to get some rest.

and February is the month with the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chapman Reservoir; Last Chance Trail is a fine local trail, and after a long day outdoors VillaHotel Bears Creek is a great spot to spend a
night or two. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Roaring Fork, and Chapman Dam has nice water scenery.
The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Some nearby water includes Deeds Creek, and a magnificent location
to visit is Foster Gulch. And that's not all you can do here at Chapman Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Sawyer Lake Trail, and places like Lamont Pasture are wonderful to check out. Throughout
the summer highs here at Chapman Reservoir reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Chapman Reservoir temperatures
descend to the 0's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. Aspen Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and if you're dropping by from Edwards, you won't be the only one.
