The beauty of Chapman Reservoir attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Aspen Mountain since you're here, and the Sawyer Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. A good place for whitewater paddling close to Chapman Reservoir is Roaring Fork, and obviously Deeds Creek flows through this region. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Chapman Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Last Chance Trail, and Foster Gulch is a great place to spend some time. Chapman Reservoir is usually a pretty dried out site; the month with most of the rain is July, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you want a great time in the
great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. There's great hiking along the Chapman Trail, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you get at Aspen Highlands. Dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel La Niche, and camping
is available at Dearhamer Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Elk Wallow Campground is always a great experience, and everybody loves Lamont Pasture.
