Paddling on Fryingpan River is so much fun, and needless to say, this is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Himmelland Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sawyer Lake Trail. Lakes are great; Chapman Lake is a lake that's close to Chapman Reservoir. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do close to Chapman Reservoir.       The great folks of Edwards like to hang out close by, and the snow is tremendous at Aspen Highlands. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Last Chance Trail, and Lamont Pasture is a wonderful site to stretch your legs a bit. Chapman Reservoir is located in the Sawatch Range. So many fun things to do in the Sawatch Range, not enough time. If you're here at Chapman Reservoir,                  you could pop by Deeds Creek, and VillaHotel Bears Creek is a good place to get some rest. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Chapman Dam near Chapman Reservoir, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Aspen Mountain is relatively near. If you need a place to stay VillaHotel La Niche is a perfect choice, and Foster Gulch is a great spot to spend some time. The Chapman Trail offers hiking at its best; why not camp at Elk Wallow Campground if you're here at Chapman Reservoir. Throughout the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Chapman Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Chapman Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Not much precipitation falls here at Chapman Reservoir; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.
