A lake close by is Blue Lake, and going for a hike on the Coal Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kannah Creek; after a long day outdoors Flying A Motel & Campground is a great place to spend a night or two. Chambers Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dry place; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and January       on the other hand is the driest. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Chambers Reservoir called the Point Camp Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Powderhorn is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Escalante Creek, and Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a delightful campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Chambers Reservoir is good fun, Glacier Spring Campground is a                  good local campground, and Goldenwoods Condo Assn. is a fine place to get some rest. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. Chambers Dam is not far at all from Chambers Reservoir, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Point Trail. At Chambers Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
