You don’t have to go far from Chambers Lake to see the water at Lost Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Montgomery Pass Trail; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Zimmerman Lake is just a very short distance away. For the duration of the summer months here at Chambers Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's with night       lows in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Chambers Lake. There are great places to look at along the Blue Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Chambers Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big South Campground. Having a splendid time at Chambers Lake is easy. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache La Poudre River, of course you                  could also check out Joe Wright Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Fall Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Joe Wright Creek.
