If you need a place to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a great choice; not far from Chambers Lake you get some magnificent water scenery at Chambers Lake Dam. All the outdoors enjoyable things close to Chambers Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Near Chambers Lake you discover the Big South Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and get yourself       into a kayak and hit Joe Wright Creek. Going for a hike on the Montgomery Pass Trail is always a great adventure, and of course Fall Creek flows through this vicinity. The Blue Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail close to Chambers Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River offers some pleasant whitewater. Inn At Grand Lake, The is a tremendous place to get some rest, and close by you discover splendid locations like Box Canyon.                  All through the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at Chambers Lake while night lows are generally in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Chambers Lake. Big South Campground is a good campground nearby, and a lake close by is Trap Lake.
