Sure, Robinson Lake is next to Chalk Mountain Reservoir, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Miners Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Arkansas River; there are plenty of folks from Silverthorne here at Chalk Mountain Reservoir. Camping is available at Kite Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Copper Junction Condominiums is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. For       the period of the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Chalk Mountain Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Chalk Mountain Reservoir temperatures drop to the 0's.
