If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Cedar Springs Reservoir. Nearby Jug Gulch is a great site to go if you're at Cedar Springs Reservoir, and Cedar Park is a great spot to check out. At Cedar Springs Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls through July, and December on the other hand is the driest. Some close by water includes North Fork Big Thompson River, and there's some exciting stuff to observe

for a hike along the Storm Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and after a long day outdoors Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful
folks of Fort Collins-Loveland like to hang out nearby; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Round Mountain Trail.
What a spot this is for outdoors people. Paddling on Big Thompson River is so much fun. All the outdoors
exciting things in the Front Range will keep you coming back many times. If you came for an overnight stay Seven Pines Campground and Cabin is a brilliant location to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Shore Lodge. Carter Valley Campgrounds is a good campground here, and a journey to Rocky Mountain National Park is recommended.
