If you need a location to stay Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a fine choice; you could always explore Dead Mexican Gulch. Take a hike on the South Derby Trail; a great nearby hotel is Black Dog Inn. There's whitewater on Sweetwater Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and Causeway Lake is right by the Ute Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Causeway Lake has it all. Camping at Causeway Lake       is tremendous fun, Bucks Campground is a tremendous local campground, and hiking along the High Trail is splendid fun. At Causeway Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Causeway Lake drop into the 0's. If you get bored of Causeway Lake, you could                  also stop at close by Long Lake, and obviously Black Mountain Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Trapline Campground is a magnificent campground here, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Chinese Wall is right here. Causeway Lake is a location that is reasonably arid ordinarily; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is June.
