     The beauty of Cattail Reservoir Number 1 attracts many people from all around. At Cattail Reservoir Number 1 you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May; the driest month of the year is January. South Side Reservoir is a delightful lake close to Cattail Reservoir Number 1, and Colorado River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. After a long day outdoors Summit at SilverCreek is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.
 
   The scenery at Cattail Pond Dam right next door to Cattail Reservoir Number 1 is wonderful; going for a hike along the Rock Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There are other locations here than Cattail Reservoir Number 1, for example Cattail Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Willow Pass Trail. For the period of the long summer days at Cattail Reservoir Number 1 highs are  
               usually in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Cattail Reservoir Number 1 sink into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Parkview Campground is a magnificent local campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Haystack Trail. Cattail Reservoir Number 1 is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Trail Creek Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willow Creek.
