     Do have a look at Knight Spring Reservoir in the vicinity of Cattail Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake; hey, Sulphur Creek is a glorious local stream. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Cattail Reservoir. Twin Spring is an inspiring site to visit during your stay; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dolores River. This lake is so wonderful. West Dolores Campground is a magnificent  
   campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fish Creek Trail. Seep Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cattail Reservoir; Spring Creek Trail is a fine local trail.
After a long day outdoors Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Priest Gulch Campground and RV is a fine location to camp; perfect hiking
 
               is available along the Twin Spring Trail. Cattail Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is June.
