Get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Fork, and at Cathedral Lake you can spot Castle Peak. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Star Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Electric Pass is near Cathedral Lake and is definitely a delightful spot to pop by, and do take a hike on the Trail Riders Trail. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Aspen Highlands, obviously you could also       go to Silver Dollar Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. All the outdoors entertaining stuff close to Cathedral Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Stay the night at Pine Creek Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Edwards here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cathedral Lake has to offer, you can camp at Castle Creek Campground, and if you need a place to stay Alpenblick by ResortQuest is a                  splendid choice. While you're here at Cathedral Lake you can take a hike along the Granite Basin Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company. High temperatures at Cathedral Lake during the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Cathedral Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
