Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things next to Cathedral Lake. Limelite Lodge is a nice location to get some rest, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Roaring Fork. American Lake is a glorious lake near Cathedral Lake; camping at Cathedral Lake is tremendous fun, Pine Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. If you're going to Cathedral Lake from Edwards, you won't       be the only one; after a long day outdoors The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Aspen Highlands are so inviting noone can resist, and Castle Creek Campground is a perfect campground here. The Trail Riders Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can see Castle Peak from Cathedral Lake. Cathedral Lake is typically a reasonably waterless location; August is when you get                  the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Cathedral Lake is right by the Granite Basin Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Aspen Mountain is a fine site to do that. Throughout the summer at Cathedral Lake highs are frequently in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cathedral Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
