    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Castle Lakes. At Castle Lakes throughout the summertime highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 30's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows at Castle Lakes during the wintertime usually plunge into the 0's. All year is a good time in the Front Range if you like the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Marys Lake Lodge is a nice choice.  
   Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. It's always pleasant to have a look at Fan Falls; you should certainly dedicate some time to Wild Basin if you're here at Castle Lakes.
Castle Lakes is pretty arid usually; August is the month that gets the most rain while November is generally the driest month. So much cool stuff to do here in the Front Range, too wonderful to be true. Longs Peak Campground is a brilliant campground nearby;
 
               going for a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. All our national parks are perfect spots to check out, and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception, and you can hit the slopes at Winter Park in close proximity.
You need to visit Keyboard of the Winds if you're here at Castle Lakes, and a good view of beautiful Chiefs Head Peak is available. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Glacier Basin Campground, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Lion Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Castle Lakes, you'll come across Falcon Lake which is a striking lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Berthoud Pass.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Castle Lakes. Some of the water close by flows, like Ouzel Creek; there are other places here than Castle Lakes, for example Black Lake. Soar down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Finch Lake-Pear Reservoir Trail. Castle Lakes is located in the Front Range.
Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a glorious place to get some rest, and paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North is so much fun.
