Head up to Winter Park and strap some skis to your feet. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Front Range rules! If time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth a visit, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Berthoud Pass. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Front Range has to offer. You must absolutely stop       at Keyboard of the Winds since you're here at Castle Lakes, and there's fine hiking along the Bluebird Lake Trail. It is very dry here at Castle Lakes generally; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is November. The Finch Lake-Pear Reservoir Trail offers hiking at its best, and there are other places here than Castle Lakes, for example Castle Lake. So many amusing things to do here at Castle Lakes, too                  great to be true. Aspen Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest, and don't leave Castle Lakes without first going for a hike along the Lion Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Vrain Creek - North is a good whitewater spot close to Castle Lakes; why not camp at Longs Peak Campground while you're here at Castle Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Chiefs Head Peak can be seen from Castle Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Marys Lake Lodge. Lion Lake Number 1 is a splendid lake near Castle Lakes, and Wild Basin is a magnificent place here at Castle Lakes. For the period of the summer months here at Castle Lakes, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Castle Lakes through the winter generally plunge into the 0's. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. It's a wonderful idea to explore Ouzel Creek, it's near Castle Lakes; a short visit to Fan Falls is always worthwhile. Yeah, come here to Castle Lakes for a magnificent time.
