Castle Creek Ponds is a nice lake to visit. Don't leave Castle Creek Ponds without first going for a hike along the High Trail, and Castle Creek Ponds is great enough to spend more than a day at, River Dance RV Resort is a great local campground. Castle Creek Ponds is generally a rather dried up place; March is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is June.
