The beauty of Cartwheel Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Cartwheel Reservoir gets very little rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Antone Spring Campground is always a great experience; a splendid nearby hotel is Placerville Hotel. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
Cartwheel Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Spring

| | Campground is a fine local campground; Gutshall Spring is a delightful local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Horsefly Trail, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on San Miguel River.

in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cartwheel Reservoir; Dry Creek Trail is a good local trail, and why not take a look at close by North Creek if you're here at Cartwheel Reservoir. All year
is a splendid time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. At Cartwheel Reservoir you always meet someone from Montrose, and after a long day outdoors Back Narrows Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night
or two.
Throughout the summertime months here at Cartwheel Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's
while Cartwheel Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. San Miguel River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and the Paradox Road offers hiking at its best.
