Lakes? Sure, Michaelsen Reservoir is close by. A magnificent location to visit close to Carpenter Reservoir is Death Valley; Bonham Reservoir is a splendid lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great location to spend a night or two, and Trickel Park Campground is a glorious local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites PARACHUTE,       and you need to visit Baxter Point if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Powderhorn is near Carpenter Reservoir; Atkinson Creek is near Carpenter Reservoir and is always a joy to stop by. Carpenter Reservoir is pretty dehydrated commonly; the month with most of the rain is March while June is regularly the driest month. Summertime highs at Carpenter Reservoir generally tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night                  it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Carpenter Reservoir are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. The Crag Crest Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not visit Carpenter Dam while you're here.
