It is very dried up here at Carneros Lake usually; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. On a lovely day you obtain a vista of Culebra Peak from Carneros Lake; a pleasant site to camp here at Carneros Lake is Potato Patch Campground. High temperatures at Carneros Lake during the warm months       are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while Carneros Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the vicinity of Carneros Lake has to offer. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Carneros Lake called the Bernal Trail.
