And that's not all the things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Bernal Trail, and Lost Lake is a great lake close by. Not much rainfall falls here at Carneros Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs       here at Carneros Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Carneros Lake. Carneros Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. There are other places here than Carneros Lake, for example Strawberry Lake, and one of the main marks of the surroundings of Carneros Lake is Culebra Peak. And                  if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do next to Carneros Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Rio, and the Culebra Range casts its shadow over Carneros Lake. While you're here at Carneros Lake you can take a hike along the Indian Trail, and Carneros Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Blue Lakes Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Carneros Lake, you can go for a hike along the Peaks Trail; the skiing at Eldora is tremendous. Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
