If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a perfect choice, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Green Mountain Trail. Summertime highs at Carl Smith Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Carl Smith Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping
