There are good places to discover along the Arapaho Pass Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Caribou Lake. The skiing at Winter Park is fine, and since you're here, you might as well pop by Arapaho Pass. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Berthoud Pass is next to Caribou Lake, and there's whitewater on Fraser River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Mount Jasper can       be spotted from Caribou Lake; if you need a site to stay Beaver Village Condominiums is a magnificent choice. Throughout the months of summer at Caribou Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Caribou Lake tend to be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend                  Boulder Creek, and a good place to camp here at Caribou Lake is Fourth of July Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Columbine Lake Trail; a spree to Coyote Park rejuvenates the soul. Caribou Lake is regularly a relatively dehydrated location; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This place, the Front Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Lakes? Sure, Columbine Lake is close at hand, and Iron Horse Resort is a great location to get some rest. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Front Range. Don't leave Caribou Lake without first going for a hike along the Devils Thumb Trail, and camping at Crater Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience.
