You can never get enough of the great skiing at Winter Park, and Caribou Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Fourth of July Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Bear Crossing Townhomes is a great spot to get some rest, and Crater Lake Campground is a splendid local campground. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Caribou Lake.       Arapaho Pass is a nice place to discover; a lake nearby is Lake Dorothy. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a great time. Boulder Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and one of the governing features of the surroundings of Caribou Lake is Mount Jasper. The Arapaho Pass Trail offers hiking at its best; do take a hike on the Devils Thumb Trail. Caribou Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the                  rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Berthoud Pass is one of those things you just should do, and after a long day outdoors Sawmill Station is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Just can't get enough of Caribou Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Fraser River, and do set aside some time for Coyote Park if you're here at Caribou Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Columbine Lake Trail, needless to say you could also stop by Columbine Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Caribou Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
