If you are traveling by, why not stop by Capote Lake. So much fun stuff to do at Capote Lake, so little time. Capote Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Navajo is a tremendous local campground; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Middle Mountain Trail. At Pargin Dam near Capote Lake there are some interesting things to see; paddling on Piedra River is so much fun. You simply have to go for the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Keyah

| | Grande Resort is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and Haystack Mountain can be made out from Capote Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Pargin Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Devil Mountain Trail. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Capote Lake that
you need to camp here for a while, Capote Campground is a tremendous place for that, and Capote Lake is not the only place nearby, Sawmill Reservoir is a nearby lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Capote Lake
highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Capote Lake.
