Near Campbell Reservoir you locate the Blue Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Campbell Reservoir is right next door to Parsons Draw which is positively worth visiting. Around Campbell Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is April, and January is the                  month with the least moisture. Hunter Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's near Campbell Reservoir, and a quick trip to Spring Creek is beyond doubt a delightful idea. Campbell Reservoir is located in the Park Range. You can run the rapids of North Platte River in the vicinity of Campbell Reservoir.
