This lake is so wonderful. Campbell Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Divide Forks Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, and while you're here, you could also have a look at stunning Beaver Dam Reservoir. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Near Campbell       Lake you discover the Beaver Dam Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. There's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Lower Bench Trail. During the warm months at Campbell Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Campbell Lake. That right there is heaps of amusing things already                  but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. Do pop by Beaver-Huffington Reservoir in close proximity to Campbell Lake, it's a delightful lake, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Grand Junction is a great choice. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Campbell Lake has to offer. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a delightful sight of Campbell Point from Campbell Lake, and why not take a little visit to U C Creek if you're here. Stay the night at T Bone Spring Campground, and going for a hike on the Upper Bench Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
