The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This place, the Medicine Bow Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. The McIntyre Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail near Camp Lake; whitewater paddling is splendid on Joe Wright Creek. Throughout the summer months here at Camp Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 30's. The winter comes       with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Camp Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Camp Lake you can take a hike along the Rawah Trail, and the summit of North Rawah Peak can be made out from Camp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Camp Lake, you could pop by Camp Creek, and paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun. Just can't get enough of Camp Lake.                  Lakes are delightful; Kelly Lake is a lake that's near Camp Lake; a great place to camp here at Camp Lake is Browns Park Campground. It is very dry here at Camp Lake ordinarily; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Camping is available at Hooligan Roost Campground, and if you need a location to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a fine choice. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Big Rainbow Lake is a lake close by, and Rawah Bog is a swamp next to Camp Lake.
