If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Camp Lake. Camp Lake gets very little precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Camping at Browns Park Campground is always a delightful experience; the Rawah Trail offers hiking at its best. So much exciting stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just impressive. Camp Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a brilliant place to get some rest, and a brilliant swamp near Camp Lake is Rawah Bog. Summertime highs at Camp Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for | |

This lake is so wonderful. Camp Lake is right by the Link Trail, and you can make out North Rawah Peak from Camp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Camp Lake is Hooligan Roost Campground.
You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River, and Grassy Pass is without doubt a perfect spot to explore.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Medicine Bow
Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the McIntyre Lake Trail; get drenched paddling on Joe Wright Creek.
