Go to Calumet Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Camping at Calumet Reservoir is splendid fun, Weir and Johnson Campground is a splendid local campground, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the East Leon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Calumet Reservoir is a good location to camp, Twin Lake Campground is a good location. Powderhorn is a wonderful local ski area. Around Calumet Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
