For the period of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Calumet Reservoir while night lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Calumet Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Powderhorn is a very popular ski area close                  by. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Take some time to stop at Grand Mesa National Forest since you're here, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Gunnison River. This lake is so wonderful. Calumet Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Slide Rock Reservoir is a nearby lake; some close by water includes Beaver Creek. It is very dried out here at Calumet Reservoir usually; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture.
