You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Park Range. Near Butter Lake you find the Sandstone Divide Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Butter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Sandstone Campground is a great place for that. High temperatures at Butter Lake all through       the summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Butter Lake. Butter Lake is ordinarily a reasonably dried up location; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Coghill-Lower Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can stay the night at Battle Creek                  Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Fly Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth a visit, and you can go for a hike on the Green Ridge Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Park Range.
