Butte Lake is a nice lake to visit. Through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Butte Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Butte Lake. If you get bored of Butte Lake, you could also have a look at close by Lost Lake, and Butte Rock is an interesting spot to pop by while at Butte Lake. | | Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. On a nice day at Butte Lake you can take a hike along the Deer Creek Trail, and there's whitewater on Cimarron River for all you thrill seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Black Canyon Campground, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Little Cimarron Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Butte Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Cimarron Campground, | |

and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Ouray. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is unbeatable! There are some glorious whitewater spots on Cimarron River, and going for a hike along
the Alpine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
This lake is so wonderful. It is very dried out here at Butte Lake frequently; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the
driest month. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Butte Lake. You can catch a sight of Horse Mesa from Butte Lake, and don’t forget to stop by Moore Pasture while you're here at Butte Lake.
The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
