The beauty of Butler Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. And that's not all you can do here at Butler Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Elk Run Inn is a fine choice, and Indian Run Campground is a tremendous campground here. Through the warm months highs here at Butler Reservoir reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime

spot close by. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Butler Reservoir Dam right next door to Butler Reservoir, and nearby you come across pleasant sites like Elk Draw.
Not much rainfall falls here at Butler Reservoir;
the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Stay the night at Baughn Lake Campground; if you get bored of Butler Reservoir you could also go to nearby Flattop Reservoir.
