    Bushnell Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Bushnell Lakes is a location that is pretty dehydrated mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a spot to stay Circle R Motel is a great choice, and camping at Bushnell Lakes is good fun, Sugarbush Grocery and Camp is a good local campground. This spot, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Dry warm  
   beds await you at Salida-Days Inn, and don't leave Bushnell Lakes without first going for a hike along the Hunts Lake Trail.
For the duration of the days of summer at Bushnell Lakes highs are commonly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Bushnell Lakes temperatures plunge to the 10's. So many exciting things to do in the Sangre De Cristo
 
               Mountains, not enough time. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Hayden Creek Campground is a nice site to camp, and there's wonderful hiking along the Steel Canyon Trail.
Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Arkansas River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Bushnell Lakes; Black Mountain Trail is a fine local trail. Bushnell Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Bushnell Lakes beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Bushnell Lakes is Bushnell Peak; get wet paddling on Arkansas River.
