    Burnt Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Burnt Lake, you'll locate Fitzpatrick Reservoir which is a wonderful lake; if you came to camp Big Blue Campground is a tremendous location to do that. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Alpine Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cimarron River. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan  
   Mountains.
Comfort Inn Ouray is a magnificent location to get some rest; Horse Mesa is simple to spot from Burnt Lake. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Burnt Lake is pretty arid generally; during September this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
So many amusing things near Burnt Lake, just mind-boggling. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Fall Creek
 
               Trail; do take a hike on the Little Cimarron Trail. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan Mountains for a good time. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Burnt Lake is Cimarron River. There's so much to do here at Burnt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Canyon Campground is a good place for that. High temperatures at Burnt Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Burnt Lake tend to be in the 10's.
