This lake is so wonderful. At Burns Dam next to Burns Reservoir there are some interesting things to see; what would winter be without some skiing at Steamboat. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River, and Sawmill Creek is near Burns Reservoir and is always a joy to have a look at. Summer at Burns Reservoir comes with high temperatures       in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Burns Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site to camp here at Burns Reservoir is Grizzly Creek Campground, and the Rainbow Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. If you get bored of Burns Reservoir,                  you could also stop at nearby Teal Lake, and do set aside some time for Newcomb Park if you're here at Burns Reservoir. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Park Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Percy Lake Trail; if you crave a little side visit, try Burns Draw. There's good hiking along the Newcomb Creek Trail, and Burns Reservoir is not the only place close by, Tiago Lake is a close by lake. Around Burns Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; through December this area sees the most snow; August is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Burns Reservoir is unbeatable!. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range.
