A visit to Burning Mine Reservoir is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Lincoln Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Summertime highs at Burning Mine Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Don't leave Burning Mine Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Dragon Douglas Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Yampa River. If time allows, Dinosaur National Monument is a national park worth stopping at, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend White River. | |
