Around Burgess Reservoir Number 1 you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. All year is a tremendous time in the Front Range if you like the outdoors. Why not camp at Alpine Lakes Resort while you're here at Burgess Reservoir Number 1; after a long day outdoors Country Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Rule Creek Dam is picturesque and it's near Burgess Reservoir Number 1, and whitewater paddling is good on South Platte River. Throughout the warm months at Burgess Reservoir Number 1 temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Burgess Reservoir Number 1 are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. | |

take a look at pretty Rule Creek Reservoir, and get dripping wet paddling on South Platte River. Any time is a nice time at Burgess Reservoir Number 1 if you go for the outdoors. Do visit Burgess Reservoir Number 2 next to Burgess
Reservoir Number 1, it's a gorgeous lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Burgess Reservoir Number 1; Rule Creek Trail is a fine local trail, and Shining Mountain Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby.
