The beauty of Burch Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the period of the warm months highs here at Burch Lake get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Burch Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Boulder here, and a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park is recommended. If you wish for a little side spree, try Lykins Gulch, and if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LONGMONT is a magnificent choice. There's so much to do here at Burch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Longmont Koa Kampground is a nice place for that, and golf can be played at Haystack Mountain | |

Golf Course & Driving Range.
Independent Dam is a picturesque place near Burch Lake; Burch Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a great local campground. Not sufficient hours in
a day to enjoy this site. There's whitewater on Saint Vrain Creek - North for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and hiking along the Round Mountain Trail is pleasant fun. Burch Lake gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest
with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Burch Lake is right by the Saddle Rock Trail; Independent Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
