Not far from Bunte Reservoir, you'll find Willow Creek Reservoir which is a stunning lake; Summit at SilverCreek is a magnificent place to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bunte Reservoir; Gilsonite Trail is a magnificent local trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Willow Creek. If you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Grand Elk Golf Course; Bunte Reservoir is right by the Sulfur Trail. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back many times. SolVista is a perfect local ski area; naturally Coyote Creek flows through this area. Be careful coming to Bunte Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you came for an overnight stay Sawmill Gulch Campground is a great spot to camp, and Windy Gap is definitely a perfect location to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Littletree Inn, and Bunte Dam is a delightful location.
