Bunte Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Bunte Dam to visit close to Bunte Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Willow Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the Park Range. If you're here at Bunte Reservoir and you like golf, you can explore Grand

| | Elk Golf Course, and hey, Gotta ski right? SolVista is a good location to do that.
Going for a hike on the Muddy Keyser Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and a tremendous place is Windy Gap. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Bunte Reservoir called the Gilsonite Trail; Windy Gap Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by.

Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at; after a long day outdoors Littletree Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. What would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass; camping is available at Willow Creek
Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Silvercreek Lodging, and you can go for a hike on the Sulfur Trail.
Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Bunte Reservoir. You can run the
rapids of Colorado River in the vicinity of Bunte Reservoir; if you came for an overnight stay Sawmill Gulch Campground is a tremendous place to camp. Summertime highs at Bunte Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night
sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bunte Reservoir drop into the-10's. Bunte Reservoir is a location that is
pretty dry mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.
