On a tremendous day at Bullion King Lake you can take a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lime Creek. Having a good time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is painless. High temperatures at Bullion King Lake during the summertime are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's.

Camels Garden is a great location to get some rest, and a lake nearby is Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Weehawken Pack Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Bullion King Lake; a day on the slopes of Kendall Mountain
is just what you need. So many cool things to do at Bullion King Lake, so little time. Mineral Creek - South is a great whitewater spot close to Bullion King Lake; a short trip to Chattanooga Hot Spring is always worthwhile. This
lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This site is so good, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do close to Bullion King Lake. While you're here at Bullion King Lake you can take a hike
along the Brooklyn Trail, and it's a good idea to pop by Mill Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. Head up to Silverton and strap some skis to your feet, and
Big Horn Gulch is around here, and is a great place. Around Bullion King Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture.
