You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bullion King Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Mineral Campground; the skiing at Silverton is tremendous. A perfect place to stop at near Bullion King Lake is Big Horn Gulch, and Ice House Lodge is a splendid spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bullion King Lake you can take a hike along the Weehawken       Pack Trail, and Kendall Mountain is a fine local ski area. Bullion King Lake is pretty dried up mostly; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is June. Be careful coming to Bullion King Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Get drenched paddling on Mineral Creek - South. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bullion King Lake. There's so much to do here at Bullion King Lake that you need to camp here for a while,                  Molas Lake Park is a nice place for that, and there are other places here than Bullion King Lake, for example Blue Lake. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, too glorious to be true. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Mill Creek, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Brooklyn Trail. Going for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Chattanooga Hot Spring is an inspiring spot to stop by during your stay. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All year is a fine time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. One of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Bullion King Lake is Ingram Peak, and after a long day outdoors Camels Garden is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lime Creek, and a pleasant spree to East Basin is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The warmest time of the year at Bullion King Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
