During the warm days of summer highs here at Bullfrog Reservoir get into the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Bullfrog Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Escalante Creek close to Bullfrog Reservoir; Cottonwood Basin is right       here at Bullfrog Reservoir. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Take a hike on the Cottonwood Trail, and Bullfrog Reservoir is a fine location to visit for more than one day, T Bone Spring Campground is a fine location to camp nearby. From Bullfrog Reservoir you obtain a pleasant panorama of 25 Mesa, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Montrose here. This lake is located in the wonderful                  Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Just can't get enough of Bullfrog Reservoir. While you're here at Bullfrog Reservoir, you could also take a look at stunning Castle Rock Reservoir, and Bullfrog Dam is a site that is close to Bullfrog Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Round Park Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Smokehouse Campground is a wonderful local campground. A good place for whitewater paddling right next door to Bullfrog Reservoir is San Miguel River; going for a hike along the Moore Mesa Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
