This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Bull Pond without first paying a visit to Herndon Spring; you'll possibly meet some folks from Montrose here. There's some flowing water nearby, Goshorn Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, of course you could also visit Allen Reservoir since you're here; it's not       far at all. While you're here at Bull Pond you can take a hike along the Horsefly Trail, and Miramonte Reservoir Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. What a place this is for outdoors people. If the weather is pleasant here at Bull Pond, you can go for a hike along the Telephone Draw Trail, and Bull Pond is not the only place nearby, Ed Joe Reservoir is a nearby lake. San Miguel River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Bull Pond is                  a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Antone Spring Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Dunton Hot Springs. Bull Pond is a location that is reasonably arid commonly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. During the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Bull Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
