This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Stagecoach,
and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ute Trail. A glorious close by hotel is Oak Tree Inn Yampa, and if you came for an overnight stay Bucks Campground is a glorious site to camp.

It is very nice to fish from a boat or bank, but I prefer boat....Wife and I where fishing Stagecoach, then we heard of Yamcolo, it was about 20 mins out of Yampa. We came around the corner of the earthen dam side, looked down the fish where jumpin all over the place grabbed the poles and it was off to the rodoe,15 fish as fast as we could 45min past sorry did not have camera going back this year in couple of weeks can't wait New Castle Colo, Apple Tree Park... |
