Going for a hike on the Fish Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure; there are other sites here than Bull Lake, for example Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. North Mountain is simple to spot from Bull Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Stoner Mesa Trail. You simply should fancy Bull Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Bear Spring, and San Miguel River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.

There's so much to do here at Bull Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Emerson Campground is a splendid place for that. Bull Lake gets very little rainfall; October is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. Summertime highs at Bull Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's
while the cold winter nights at Bull Lake are in the 10's. Dunton Hot Springs is a great place to get some rest, and nearby you hit upon the Stoner Stock Trail which is a great hiking trail.
