During the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Buffehrs Reservoir. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Buffehrs Reservoir. It is very waterless here at Buffehrs Reservoir regularly; the month of       July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Copper Junction Condominiums is a good place to spend a night or two, and great skiing awaits you at Breckenridge. Go for a hike on the Wheeler Dillion Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Timber Creek Condominums is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Mayflower Trailings Pond is in the neighborhood,                  and Kite Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Near Buffehrs Reservoir you stumble on the Wheeler Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Silverthorne here. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Kokomo Gulch; going for a hike on the Miners Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Buffehrs Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Tenmile Tailings Pond, and East Sheep Mountain can be distinguished from Buffehrs Reservoir. Be careful coming to Buffehrs Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return back home again.
